Antique Suitcase With College Pennants

Item Details

A wonderful antique suitcase adorned with paper pennants from various universities around the country is featured. One can imagine a young eighteen year old student headed to college during the 1930s carrying this suitcase to his/her dorm room. The universities represented on the outside of this suitcase are: Baylor, Cincinnati, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Arkansas, S.M.U., Kansas State, ‘Aggies’, Iowa State, Texas and Missouri. The suitcase is a green with beige stripes, made of a canvas material; the inside is green with a pocket that goes the width of the lid.
