1940s Jack Dempsey Restaurant Postcard
A 1940s era Jack Dempsey unused Boxing Post Card is presented in this lot. The image on the front is from a James Montgomery Flagg painting of Jack defeating Jess Willard in a match that took place in 1919. The front is a textured stock; the back of the postcard it says, ‘May I Play Host and Say ’Hello’ to You in My Restaurant Where Food and Friendliness are Knockouts’ Jack Dempsey. The restaurant was located on Broadway in New York City. Please see photos and attend our Preview for a personal assessment.
