National Cash Register Floor Stand
Item Details
A mahogany merchants chest, having four cash drawers, labeled A,B,D and E (no C), over one drawer marked supplies and two drawers marked records. Below is a double-panel, over an open space that originally had a hinged door, which appears to have held the cash drawer, when not in use. The top drawer retains an original instruction label and is marked ‘National Cash Register Co., Dayton, Ohio’. Circa 1900-1910. The top is stamped ‘607’, near rectangular hole.
Condition
- has original finish, five original metal knobs and five old replaced, red plastic knobs and missing bottom door, which was hinged along bottom and folded down.
