A striking contempory sugar lift cube etching by established contemporary artist Tom Levine. Printed with a transparent ink, allowing the color fibers of the rag paper to bleed through the image matrix, creating a ghostly image. The stark cube cast a subtle shadow embossed by the etching plate. Edition number 3 of 30, signed by the artist in the lower right – hand corner. Dated 1982. Floats behind glass in a wood frame. Levine’s work is a part of many prestigious collections including MOMA, The National Gallery of Art, The MET, and The Whitney.
