Vintage Federal Style Hard Rock Maple Secretary Bookcase

Item Details

A genuine solid northern rock maple secretary by Monitor Furniture Co. This piece has an arched broken bonnet with a center finial over two glass paneled doors with brass button pulls that open to two shelves. The slant top conceals a solid writing surface with several letter compartments and three small drawers. The base has three deep drawers, brass pulls and rests on bracket feet with a slight cabriole curve at the knee.

Condition

Consistent with age and use. The back cover panel has water damage and the veneer is lifting.
