Don Polland's 1991 "Wanted" Pewter Sculpture by Chilmark

A 1991 fine pewter sculpture by Los Angeles born Western and Wildlife artist Don Polland (1932-2003), entitled Wanted_. Don Polland has sculpted an outlaw, exhausted from one escape too many from too many pursuers. He stumbles upon a ‘Wanted’ sign and upon closer study we see the character on the wanted poster is Polland himself. This piece is numbered 935/1200. The craftsmanship of this piece is remarkable and detail stunning. It sets atop a solid wood base and bears all appropriate markings. A wonderful collector’s piece. Also included is the Lance, Chilmark Certificate of Registration.
