1904 Sterling and Glass Art Deco Perfume Bottle

A 1904 sterling and glass Art Deco perfume bottle. This bottle is glass encased in a sterling cage rendered in typical Art Deco symmetry of circles and columns. The cartouche has no monogram. The lid is a simple glass rectangle and stopper. The collar bears the hallmark of sterling created in Chester, England; the makers marks identify the silversmith as Sampson Mordan and Company, this mark was registered in 1904. Interestingly, Sampson Mordan obtained the first patent for the mechanical pencil in 1822.
Condition
For age and use. Small shear noted on the glass stopper handle.
