Oil Painting, "The City Grain Mill" by Rudolf Warnecke
Item Details
An original oil painting by German artist, Rudolf Warnecke (German, 1905-1994), titled The City Grain Mill. Painted in 1954, the painting depicts the grain mill alongside a dam with other buildings and trees in the foreground. The artwork has a gesso on wood frame with gilt finish. It is painted on particle board, signed in the lower right, housed in a gold finish wooden molding frame with composition decoration, and has a wire for hanging. There is a handwritten note on the back of the painting noting the title, artist, date and location.
Condition
Minor flaws on corners of frame.
