"A Morning Greeting" Hand-Painted Engraving, Circa 1885
Item Details
An original hand-painted engraving by master engraver S. Arlent Edwards (1862-1938) after a painting by George Hillyard Swinstead, circa 1885, titled A Morning Greeting. A charming image of a barefoot young girl looking down to a young calf she is feeding, followed by a gaggle of geese, as she walks down a dirt path passing by farm buildings. Print is set in mat behind glass in a gilt wood frame.
