Vintage French Limoges Cups and Saucers
Item Details
A selection of fine Haviland Limoges china cups and saucers in a variety of patterns. There are several delicate rose and purple floral patterned pieces, including four 5.5’ saucers, three 6’ saucers, a teacup, and three double-handled cups, all with a Theodore Haviland mark. Four Wm Guerin & Co. Limoges France plates with bright floral patterns and gilt accents are also marked ‘H & S Pogue Co.’ and are 6.15’ in diameter. A gold rimmed, Greek-key pattern adorns the five two-handled cups and four saucers all marked P L Limoges, with an M. Redon mark on cups only. An all-white cup and saucer set which is a reproduction of ‘Flowering Branches’ by Meissen, made by Ch. Field Haviland Limoges on behalf of MOMA. Finally, a more contemporary blue-banded floral set by Le Clair Limoges completes this lot. (Plate stand not included.)
Condition
There is a chip in one of the Theodore Haviland 5.5" saucers.
Dimensions
Size of an M. Redon double-handled cup. Saucers are between 5" and 6" in diameter.
