Vintage Gefle "Vinranka" Swedish Porcelain Set
Item Details
A fifteen-piece set of Swedish Gefle porcelain featuring the Vinranka pattern. Founded in 1910 and eventually closed in the 1970s, the Gefle porcelain factory produced gorgeous flow blue pieces such as this Vinranka set. The Upsala-Ekeby stamp on the bottom of many of these pieces indicate they were manufactured post-1936. This set includes four teacups, four saucers, a teapot, a hot chocolate pot, a creamer, and four dessert plates. These pieces include scalloped edges and a blue leaf pattern with the characteristically blurred lines of the flow blue porcelain.
Condition
Wear consistent with age and use. Pattern features characteristic blurring. The glaze is crazed consistent with age.
