An original pair of Japanese landscape watercolors by Buffy Murai. Buffy Murai is a Japanese landscape artist and master watercolorist. He was born in San Francisco, but grew up in Japan and studied art at the University of Tokyo. He has designed sets for the movie industry, and was art director for the renowned Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC in 1959. These two blue landscape watercolors exhibit a delicate touch with an amazing amount detail. Signed Buffy with chop mark, and mounted in a blue wood frame under glass.
Condition
Both frames have scratch mark / damage.
