An original oil on board painting, signed to the lower left hand corner by well-listed American painter Albert Henry Schroder (1929–2004). An impressive piece, well-executed with perfect precise brush stokes depicting a lighthouse nestled into the Oregon coast. Schroder has captured the rugged untamed coast line with incredible truth and realistic detail. The painting speaks to the artist’s great talent and strengths in rendering, and is beautifully presented in a fantastically distressed wooden frame with silver gilt to inner border and canvas inset to edge. This piece was exhibited in a one man show at The Naples Art Gallery, original gallery advertising leaflet included.
