A Beautiful 1940s Roos Cedar Chest

A Jacobean Revival carved wood cedar lined blanket chest by the Roos Furniture Company. The 1940s era chest sits atop highly carved turned ball legs with a shoe foot trestle base and features a hinged top red cedar lined trunk with a lower apron front drawer, bead molding, carved trim and scroll accents throughout. Top apron hosts three felt lined storage compartments and has a figural brass medallion accent to the center.

Condition

some minor wear appropriate for its age and purpose.
