Original Ralph Smith "Big Mama" Watercolor

An original watercolor titled Big Mama by American artist Ralph Smith (1941-2010), dated 1982. Smith was born in Circleville, Ohio and received his first formal Fine Art degree from The Columbus Art School. He later resided in Pennsylvania where he received another degree at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. The watercolor depicts a hen, all white feathered but the red comb and wattle. Pen signed and dated to the bottom left. The watercolor is double matted in a roundel shape and nicely set into a wood and glass plated frame, ready to hang. Labelled to the reverse.

- scuffs to the frame.

Measurements are for the frame. Measurements for the visible image size of the watercolor in the roundel are 7.5" W and 7.5" H.
