Limited Edition Signed Serigraph

An exceptional and collectible limited edition Southwestern serigraph, taken from a work by R. Vernon Hunter, serigraph by Louie Ewing. Silk screen on paper, circa 1940. Signed, numbered and titled in pencil. This serigraph, titled Home From The Fiesta was created when Ewing made silkscreen prints from Hunter’s original paintings of Navajo blankets. Fifteen silk screen were produced, all of a limited edition, this piece being numbered 4/120. Presented behind glass in neutral surround in red colored wood frame. Louie Ewing is viewed to be one of the first artists in the United States to ‘work creatively with serigraphy’.
