Three Mickey Mouse Watches
Item Details
A wonderful set of three Mickey Mouse wristwatches. The first watch is a Mickey Mouse Fantasia “The Sorcerer” quartz watch by Lorus/Seiko. This rare watch, featuring art from the Disney classic Fantasia, portrays Mickey in sorcerer’s costume and hat, with animated arms pointing to the time. There is also a rotating second counter dial displaying the bewitched mop and buckets, affixed just above the 6:00 o’clock hour counter. The gold tone metal case is carried by a black leather faux snakeskin band. Two are identical 1947 watch faces (no bands included), featuring silver tone metal rectangular cases and a red numbered dial. The Mickey figure has animated hands pointing to the time and are marked “Ingersoll” and “W.D.P.” These could not be tested at the time of cataloging.
