1891-1892 Le Faucheux Pinfire Revolver Belgian Made

Item Details

A circa 1891-1982 Le Faucheux type pinfire double action revolver, made in Belgium. The proof marks on the gun include the letters ‘E’, ‘L’ and ‘G’ and a star symbol configured in a circle. On the cylinder is a black powder proof; a British proof mark from the Liege proof house that was used between 1811 to 1892. Also on the cylinder, the proof mark of a crown above the letter ‘G’; a German rifled barrel proof mark that dates between 1891 to 1939.
