Vintage Enterprise Fruit Press and Sausage Stuffer
Item Details
A vintage Enterprise fruit press and sausage stuffer. Organized in 1866, the Philadelphia-based Enterprise Manufacturing Company produced meat grinders, presses, and sausage stuffers until the mid 1900s when the company was purchased by Chop-Rite Manufacturing. This press predates the name change. With an eight quart capacity, this press claims to be ‘unique for many uses’ including a fruit press, lard press, and sausage stuffer. The press is made of cast iron with a crank handle. The crank handle and gears move smoothly and seem to be working, however, the item has not otherwise been tested.
Condition
