A vintage Pflueger Akron 1893 fishing reel. The first 1893 model, manufactured in Akron, Ohio was introduced in 1925. It was widely popular and this particular reel represents a variation on the model introduced in 1932. The handles are green and the reel is loaded with multicolored line. The reel is untested, but moving parts move smoothly and seem to be in working condition.

The reel is untested, but moving parts move smoothly and seem to be in working condition, particularly, the oil caps seems to be intact. Wear consistent with age and use.
