Rooster Themed Wood 'Woodpecker Ware' Canisters and Bread Box
Item Details
A vintage set of four wooden canisters and a bread box from ‘Woodpecker Ware’ in Japan. This set has a rooster design painted on the front of each piece. The canisters are in graduated sizes, and each has a wooden lid with an indented round knob for removal. The bread box has four wooden knobs for opening and one shelf inside.
Condition
There is some deterioration of the varnish on these pieces, and they need some cleaning or refinishing in places. There is some age associated smell on the insides.
