1926 Brunswick Panatrope Radiola Super-Heterodyne Phonograph

Item Details

A working Brunswick Panatrope Radiola Super-Heterodyne Phonograph is a rare, historical and gorgeous piece. In 1926, Brunswick created the worlds first purely electrical musical instrument. The company produced this acoustic phonograph for playing new electronically recorded 78 records as well as the radio. The craftsmanship on this piece is stunning. The two front cabinet doors each feature a beautiful medallion design and open to a speaker on the right side with a gorgeous metal grill cover. When turned on, the ruby red faceted button below lights up. The bottom area is a storage space for seventy-eight (78) records. The top of this piece has two split doors that open vertically. One door opens to the record player and the other opens to the radio and dials. This special piece is known as being Brunswick’s finest phonograph produced and is a true gem.
