Antique Nippon Morimoto Brothers Pitcher

A rich Emerald green porcelain Nippon (Morimura Brothers) pitcher with beautiful details all around. It has a scrolling ornate handle, hand-painted roses in pale blues and pinks in a cameo style and a scalloped rim. Heavy gold hand-painted raised filigree and pindot details surround this pitcher highlighting its form. Marked to bottom ‘Hand Painted Nippon’ with a maple leaf, and this lovely piece is from the late 1890s- early 1900s.

Condition

Condition is consistent with age, the colors are vibrant, there is a small chip on the rim.
