Item Details
Oil on board by listed Cincinnati artist Charles Stewart Todd. This painting with an oriental flair. The table has a pottery vase done in blue and white with pussywillows and pink cherry blossoms. A Buddha sits serenely to the opposite side of the table. Todd was born in Owensboro Ky and studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy. He also worked for the Rookwood Pottery Company from 1911 through the 1920’s. Painting is signed C.S. Todd to lower right
Painting is housed in a bronze colored frame with black accents.
Condition
Needs a good cleaning and needs to be tightened in frame.
