Chinese Famille Rose Hand Decorated Porcelain Bowl
Item Details
A 19th century Chinese Tao-Kuang Daoguang famille rose hand decorated porcelain bowl, dating to the period of the Qing Dynasty. The octagonal shaped bowl is decorated in a yellow ground with multi-color scrolling foliates and florals, bat symbols and a Greek key pattern on the base. The interior is in an aqua blue glaze. The bowl is reign marked to the underside with a zhuanshu archaic seal script in iron red resembling the Imperial wares which are typically marked with a zhuanshu archaic seal script in blue from the Chinese Daoguang period (1821-1850).
Condition
Some signs of age and wear, stains and wear to gilt on rim, needs cleaned up.
