Victorian Gothic Revival His and Hers Chairs
Item Details
A set of his and hers Victorian Gothic Revival chairs dating to the mid 19th century. The mahogany framed chairs have high backs with a trio of finials to the top. The back arches and is reminiscent of a church window with three pierced areas to upper. The sides are turned with narrow ring details. The backs and seats have oval upholstery area in blue and pink damask with diamond shapes. Her chair is smaller in stature and has low sloping side supports attaching back to seat. This chair is larger and has arms with arm pads.
Condition
The frames are in fair condition with light scratching to finish. Her chair has a break in the size support. The upholstery shows heavy wear.

Measurement above is for larger chair, the smaller measures 20"x 47"x 18".
