Cherry Vanity by Willett

Item Details

A beautiful cherry vanity and stool by the Consider H. Willett Co. The top of the vanity features a two small drawers to either side of the tilting mirror, two lathe-turned posts to hold the mirror, and a curved trim border joining the two halves. The main body of the piece features a central drawer with a scalloped design, and two sets of three drawers each on either side. All drawers feature dovetail joint construction and have hanging brass tone metal pulls. The stool has four lathe-turned wood legs and a padded top upholstered with colorful floral-patterned fabric. The piece can be dated to 1934-1962, the years the Willett Co. was in operation.
