An original oil on panel still life by listed artist, Bert Beirne, titled Peach Half and Slice. The piece is in a contemporary frame with a gilded, antiqued appearance. The artist’s biographical information to the frame reverse reads, ‘A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bert received her BFA at the University of Cincinnati. A resident of Flowery Branch, Georgia, she has lived in the Atlanta area since 1968 and is a co-founder of the Dunwoody Fine Art Association. Bert’s oil paintings have won top awards in numerous regional and national shows and are included in private and corporate collections throughout the United States, Canada, England, Germany, Japan, and Puerto Rico.’
