Vintage Equestrian Items
Item Details
A grouping of vintage equestrian items. The items include two crops; one that is covered in leather with resin hoof handle and one that is made of resin bands with a leather strap. Also, a pair of stirrups and one extra and three pairs of spurs. There is a braided leather piece that has the appearance of a crop but a metal hook at the top like a lead shank. Lastly, two Tress & Co. London black velvet English riding hats, made in England.
Condition
- overall. The leather has heavy wear spots to the leather covered crop, the braided leather crop/lead shank is fair with heavy wear and unbraiding to the end. One of the riding hats has a tear to the velvet of the exterior and the other riding hat has a tear to the fabric lining. The other items have wear consistent with age.
Dimensions
The riding crops are 19"L and 21.5"L, the stirrups are 6"H x 5.5"W x 2.25"D, the spurs are 4.75"H x 3.25"W. One hat is marked 7-1/4 and the other is marked 7-1/2.
