1940s Baseball Exhibit Cards
Item Details
A group of vintage 1940s baseball exhibit cards are in this lot. The players featured are: Bill Lee (Cubs, Phillies and Boston Braves), Buddy Hassett ( Brooklyn Dodgers, Boston Bees/Braves and Yankees), Harland Clift ( St. Louis Browns, Senators) and Del Ennis (Phillies, Cardinals, Reds and White Sox). Exhibit cards were sold in vending machines; the machines mostly had pictures of athletes and movie stars. These cards were made up to the mid 1960s.
