Vintage Cedar Chest with Metal Bands

Item Details

A handsome vintage cedar chest with a medium brown finish. The top and front of the piece are banded in brass-tone metal, with the hinges and supports connecting the lid to the sides in the same metal. There is a locking mechanism at the front, but the key plate is missing, leaving an empty circular hole in the wood. The interior is unfinished and has a lovely cedar aroma. There are wood handles at the sides, and the piece sits on four short wood legs.
