An antique Singer ‘Sphinx’ model 27 treadle sewing machine with a beautiful tiger oak cabinet and accessories. Includes the coveted ‘puzzle box’ accessory case with multiple feet and tools. Machine serial number A359265 which denotes the issue date for this model began in 1911. Cast iron base retains some of its original gold paint. Working condition unknown.
This heavy item is located on main floor with no steps.

Condition

decals in better than expected condition for its age. Machine has some rust on the end. Cabinet wear consistent with age, includes some chipped veneer. EBTH was unable to test machine.
