Original glass sculpture by well-known and listed artist, William Morris (California, Washington and Hawaii, 1957- ). The piece is titled Standing Red Stone. See photo of incised artist signature and date, 1983. Morris was born in Carmel, California and worked as a gaffer for Dale Chihuly. In the mid-1980’s, he began working and creating on his own. Morris studied in Italy under Venetian glass studios and has since taken the medium to newer and uncharted aesthetics. The pedestal is included with this stunning hand blown glass sculpture.
