A pair of Zuni Pueblo ‘Bear’ and ‘Wolf’ fetishes by Andreas Quandelacy. The bear fetish is intricately hand carved from granite and holds a spiny oyster fish in his mouth. The bear is a healing fetish for strength and the caught fish represents bounty. The wolf is a hunting fetish, hand carved from turquoise with inlaid spiny oyster arrow. It is carved to represent loyalty and family, and the arrow represents protection.
