Item Details
An original, and beautifully layered, serigraph signed to the lower righthand corner by well renowned printmaker James Bruce Underwood. The print’s imagery is understated and thoroughly modernist. A two toned red design composed of clearly defined graphic elements whose meaning is loose, hide underneath a transparent layer of white ink. The print is entitled ‘Quaver VIII,’ implicating a series, and is marked close by as an artist’s proof. Print is presented in a gold toned metal frame with double brown matting to inner edge.
Condition
- print would appear to be burnt around image edge for an unknown reason, also somewhat wrinkled in the frame.
