An original acrylic on canvas by artist Ann Varner. This 1975 piece portrays an abstract woodland scene featuring fall hues to the leaves. The artist’s bio and statement sheet attached to the verso explains Varner is a native of Indiana, Brown County specifically and enjoys painting scenes of the Indiana countryside. This piece is signed ‘Varner’ to the bottom left. Mounted in a carved wood frame with a linen covered interior border.
