Barnum of the Barnum & Bailey circus. This particular advertisement depicts one of the show’s popular acts ‘The Hazardous, Terrific Automobile Double Forward Somersault: Out-Thrilling All Other Thrillers – A New Astounding Sensation.’ In a simple black wood frame, copyright 1960 Circus World Museum.
