An assortment of Ucagco PY Early Provincial ‘Rooster and Roses’ dishes. This ceramic collection includes four candy dishes with yellow glazed borders, a pair of handled salt and pepper shakers, and a double vessel holder with a tall yellow glazed handle. Each of these charming pieces is decorated with the popular hand painted ‘Rooster and Roses’ pattern. Two of the dishes feature the green Ucagco mark surrounded by the words, ‘Early Provincial Underglaze, Hand Painted Japan’ to the undersides. Another two feature the Ucagco mark with the words, ‘Made in Japan’. One of the shakers is marked with a green ‘PY’ to the underside.

Condition

Some crazing, discoloration, and few chips present. Discoloration may be remedied with washing. Shakers do not have stoppers. Please attend sale preview for personal assessment.
