Vintage Titanium Control Valve For Ford MGM-51 Shillelagh Missile

A vintage titanium control valve for the Ford MGM-51 Shillelagh anti-tank missile that would have been installed on a Sheridan tank. The mounted pitch, yaw and roll control valve was built by Ford Aeronutronics in Newport Beach, CA in the early to mid sixties. The Ford MGM-51 Shillegagh missile was an American anti-tank guided missile designed to be launched from a conventional gun such as a cannon and during that time would have been mounted on Sheridan tanks. This item is for display purposes only and was never used. Ford employee owned.

Condition
The wood mount shows signs of use consistent with age evidenced by significant scratches on the front and corner edges.
