Spode "Fleur De Lys" Teapot

A stunning Spode fine bone china tea pot, in the hard-to-find Fleur De Lys Red pattern (manufactured 1961-1994). This gorgeous piece is shaped in a demure, curved style with four scalloped indents at quarterpoints, and displays a delicately scalloped pot, spout edges and rim with an intricate, ornate design of fleur de lys in a deep red hue to sides of pot and top edge of lid, and gold tone accent to floral motif knob, teapot lid and rim, spout top and scalloped base, and handle. Marked ‘Y7481-D Fleur De Lys Red Spode Fine Bone China England’ to base, with what appears to be a freehand gold tone mark to underside.

Condition

Very good overall for age and use.
