A shadowbox with WWII medals, unit identification patches, pins, etc. The items appear to be from an individual veteran of WWII and the post war era who served in the army as an enlisted man during the war and as an Army Air Force pilot immediately following the war. Items in the shadowbox include: U. S. Army cap device, Army Air Force shoulder patch, 4th Army shoulder patch, 5th Army shoulder patch, New Mexico National Guard shoulder patch, WWII Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, WWII, Good Conduct Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, National Defense Medal, two New Mexico Services Medals, 697th Field Artillery Battalion collar devices, Air Defense Artillery collar device, Air Force Academy collar device, 4th Army distinctive unit identification pin, pilot wings, Private, Corporal, and Sergeant uniform patches, officer collar devices from 2nd Lieutenant through Major, and a few items. All of the items in the shadowbox appear to be period and not later replacements.
