A pair of matching watercolor prints from artist Nicolas Markovitch, 1894-1964 (http://iantiqueonline.ning.com/profiles/blogs/a-marc-prints-n-markovitch). Markovitch was a Serbian artist who also worked as an architect. He always signed his original watercolor paintings with his true name Markovitch, but for reproduction lithographs of his landscapes and architectural series such as these, he signed the name A. Marc or just Marc. For his flower/botanical lithoraphs he signed the name Jean Philippe or just J. Philippe.
