"Femme au Balcon" by Jean-Claude Picot

A fabulous 1992 limited edition lithograph titled Femme au Balcon, by Jean-Claude Picot (France, b. 1933), a professional artist since 1956. Picot is most known for his cheerful, and very colorful landscape painting, which are his favorite. He has exhibited his work over the entire world, including the United States, and many of his pieces are part of some of the most prestigious world wide collections. He still resides in the South of France. This lithograph is in color with embossing on heavy woven paper. It is signed and numbered in white crayon. On the lower left, in white crayon, this piece is numbered 3/50 and artist signed on lover right, in white crayon. The center is signed in white crayon, annotated Aquarelle Original (original watercolor). One of only fifty examples of this lithograph with a bottom margin on which the artist has painted in watercolor a unique Remarque composition which has been signed in ink. Printed at Aloys Litho, Paris. Also included is the Certificate of Authenticity from Park West Gallery, Southfield MI.
