An original signed and numbered lithograph by Surrealist master painter Salvador Dali (1904-1989). This print is from the Lyle Stuart Tarot Card Series and is part of a limited edition of 250 of which it is 77. This print features Dali’s illustration for the Wheel Of Fortune, and is certainly representative of the artist’s printmaking oeuvre, although the publication of this print was certainly an involved production using some of the most modern technology of the time to produce a painterly photo collage in the form of a lithograph, most likely using smart plates in the process of photo litho. The print is signed to the verso by the founder of the Dali Archives Albert Fields. Field’s signature is the best way to be sure of your purchase when purchasing a Dali, and would appear in this case to match photographic references.
