An early twentieth century two quart butter churner. This churner is marked ‘The Lightning Butter Machine Pat. Feb 6 1917 Stewart-Skinner Co. Worcester Mass, USA Sole Manufacturer 2 QT’ on the metal lid and the glass jar is embossed ‘20 Dazey Churn & Mfg. Co. St. Louis USA’. The Dazey glass jar has a high shoulder while the metal lid has a round screen and aluminum paddles. The paddles are on slight inclines and attach at the top and bottom leaving the center of the paddle open.

Condition

- slight wear and tear.
- a bit of rusting.
