An absolutely exquisite original watercolor on paper signed to the lower left hand corner by well listed British watercolorist Thomas S. Harper (1820-1889). The artist has depicted an epic landscape, capable of transporting the viewer into golden memories of hiking landscapes such as this. The brushwork is fine and light, showing the hand of an artist who was past proficient in his selected medium, to where it might have come as easy as breathing. A fine addition to any collection of fine art, presented in a simple gilt wood frame with bordered double matting to edge. Seemingly dated 1860 to the lower left just below signature.
