An assortment of silver plate trays, including collectible coasters, a shell-shaped tray, and a whimsical lidded tray in the shape of a peanut. The set of coasters consists of eight matching pieces, made in Sweden, and ten larger, matching pieces made in China or Italy. Seven of the larger coasters come with their packaging, membership gifts from the Reader’s Digest. The shell tray comes with its packaging from WM. Rogers & Son. The tray has three feet to support the upturned shape of the clam shell design. The lidded peanut tray comes in its packaging from F.B. Rogers Silver Company. The tray is tarnish resistant and the inside is a deep gold color.
Condition
Many pieces need polishing.
