19th Century U.S. Calvary Helmet with Horsehair Plume
Item Details
A 19th century U.S. Cavalry dress helmet with horsehair plume. The helmet has a black velvet covering with a leather band to inside. The outside features a black leather band with brass cavalry buttons to the side, an applied brass tone eagle to the front and an orange horse hair plume coming from center column with foliate design to base.
Condition
- for age. There is wear to horse hair plume. There is a dent to orb on center column, wear to brass finish and nicks to leather.
