Two Inuit Soapstone Sculptures by Dimu
Item Details
Two Inuit soapstone sculptures, each signed ‘Dimu’ on the bottom. Both pieces are carved out of green, marbled soapstone. One piece depicts an igloo and a small Inuit figure, mounted on a flat, soapstone base. The other piece is an abstract animal, likely a beaver, with carved eyes and whiskers.
Condition
A couple small nicks in the igloo piece.
