Walt Burton Playboy Club Head Shot Photographic Prints

A pair of two Walt Burton (1935- ) Playboy Club black-and-white head shot photographic prints. Burton began his photography career in the 1950s and was Cincinnati’s Playboy magazine district photographer from 1963 to 1966. The first Playboy Club opened in Chicago in 1960, later coming to Cincinnati in 1964. The club maintained its reputation as a place for party, cocktails, music and beautiful bunnies until it closed its doors in 1984. Two of the prints are head shot contact sheets, featuring twelve shots each. The third 5×7 photograph is a head shot enlargement all of the same female bunny. The contact prints are marked January 20th 1966 and the enlargement is dated to the 1970s. All have the artist’s stamps and pencil marks to the reverse. Unframed.
Condition
- slight curling and scuffs to the edges. The contact prints have binder ring holes along the edge.
